We have worked a way to get three rooms for $275 each. That includes a nights stay for each family and they get a gift card to spend $275 while at the lodge. Remembering & Honoring Sammamish Ofc. Stan Chapin

A (KCSO) for nearly 40 years. Also a military veteran–but chiefly a local hero who served our community. In the last 12 years he served as the Resource Officer for Interlake School and Eastlake High School. He was liked by both his fellow officers and the kids he worked with. He always had a smile on his face and thoroughly enjoyed his service to country and community. We are taking donations to support this family during their sudden loss of Stan. If you would like to give to the family. Please note on your gift “Chapin”. All funds will be directed towards the family. **We will also be taking donations for the family on Friday, 16 March 2012 at the Sammi Awards event at the Operation Bald Eagle booth.**

Operation Bald Eagle is about serving our military in their time of need. We currently serve more than 500 troops with care packages throughout the year. This means with a smaller van that we currently have we must make several trips to the Post Office to drop off packages. Thanksgiving we collected enough dinners for 250+ families. Christmas we have also collected more than enough toys for over 250 families. This all adds up to more space needed to transport supplies. Increased fuel costs and further wear and tear on our vehicle. As well as limiting our ability to respond at all in some circumstances. We also pick up donations and often need a larger van or must deny the donation altogether. In 2012 we are looking to raise funds to making this a reality. If you would like to donate funds to support this effort or are able to donate a vehicle please contact us. Your tax deductible donation can make a real difference in the lives of our military families when they need it the most.

Giving Thanks to our Troop Families: Camp Murray

We are handing out slips for customers to pick up Thanksgiving supplies for Camp Murray families in need. We hope to feed 1,000 families. Come help us make it happen. We will deliver packages for all supplies the week prior to Thanksgiving week. Times: 4pm >> 6:30pm
